8 Places You Are Right Now is a recurring installation which shifts form with each iteration. It asks a simple question — where are you right now? — and supplies eight different answers which reveal the complex layering of meaning in every location. No matter where you are, you are always in a multiplicity of places at once.
This iteration was created for Case x Case, a micro-gallery space in the foyer of the Art & Exhibition Hall at the University of Illinois at Chicago. The poster lists eight places the gallery is located, with brief descriptions of each in footnotes.
