8 Places You Are Right Now is a recurring installation which shifts form with each iteration. It asks a simple question — where are you right now? — and supplies eight different answers which reveal the complex layering of meaning in every location. No matter where you are, you are always in a multiplicity of places at once.
This iteration was created for the Phipps Center for the Arts in Hudson, WI in 2019. Each design identifies a place where the gallery is located, and provides a brief description of that place. Postcards were made free to gallery visitors.
